Role Overview:
We are seeking an IT Technical Project Manager to lead system and application changes, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery while aligning with business goals.
- Manage small projects and changes, serving as the key link between business and IT.
- Act as the main point of contact between internal teams and third-party vendors.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement and promote innovation in delivery.
- Build strong collaboration between stakeholders and IT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of projects, with a strong focus on managing third-party vendors.
- Develop delivery plans, manage budgets, and control project scope.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business change teams, IT, and external partners.
- Ensure effective third-party vendor engagement to deliver value for the business.
- Regularly report on project progress, risks, and dependencies to key stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
We need a proven leader with a strong background in delivery management and third-party vendor oversight.
- Extensive experience managing third-party vendors and ensuring value for money.
- Skilled in estimating project costs and timelines with commercial awareness.
- Experience leading technical teams and managing delivery from external vendors.
- Familiarity with the insurance industry and the full SDLC.
- Proactive and able to work independently while handling ambiguity.
Essential Skills:
- Strong stakeholder and third-party vendor management.
- Proven experience in leading projects and managing vendor performance.
- Expertise in DevOps, SDLC, and agile/waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps or similar management tools.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
