Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer | Nottingham | Hybrid | £85,000+ benefits

An innovative and progressive specialist provider of HR, payroll and finance software, who are partnered with some of the world’s leading companies, are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, skilled in .Net Core, Angular and Azure/AWS to join them and play a crucial role in developing innovative products to tackle a wide variety of problems to evolve their platform.

You will be joining and leading a diverse, cross functional team who all share a passion and obsession for all things tech.

Day to Day Work:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using .NET.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and other colleagues to seek exciting and results-oriented problems for delivering value
• Contribute to the adoption of best practices and innovative solutions.
• Support and mentor other engineers through code reviews and pair programming to accelerate their technical mastery
• Challenge team processes, looking for ways to improve them

Ideally you will have:

• Senior level experience in modern .NET applications written in .NET Core 5+
• Experience with modern unit testing frameworks and methodologies
• Experience in front-end and back-end technologies in particular working in Angular – or similar JavaScript MVC framework, C# and .NET Core development.
• Strong Knowledge of software engineering concepts such as design patterns, SOLID principles, polymorphism, and threading.
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services for cloud-based development
• Experience working in autonomous agile environments.
