We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Business Change team of a dynamic organization on a permanent basis. In this hands-on role, you will manage multiple projects from inception to delivery, utilizing approved methodologies to achieve quality, cost, and timeline targets. This is an opportunity to work on a variety of impactful initiatives, including regulatory changes, operational enhancements, and proposition developments, in collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners.

About the Role:

As a Project Manager, you’ll oversee a diverse portfolio of projects, working closely with the organization’s outsource partner and internal teams. Projects will range in complexity and require effective planning, tracking, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and manage project plans and schedules using Microsoft Project or similar tools.
  • Maintain RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs to track and manage project status.
  • Monitor progress to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Manage project budgets and apply change management processes as required.
  • Estimate project costs, manage resources, and ensure milestone dates are achieved.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to the Change Portfolio Lead and senior stakeholders.
  • Establish and lead cross-functional project teams in a matrix management environment, setting clear objectives.
  • Oversee the daily task management of Business and Operational Analysts assigned to projects.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders and sponsors to align on project objectives, progress, and deliverables.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience managing projects from planning to delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project plans, budgets, and RAID logs effectively.
  • Strong expertise in Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies
  • Working experience in Financial Services, specifically within small UK-regulated firms is essential
  • Experience managing project schedules using Microsoft Project or similar tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage outsourced service providers.
  • Familiarity with IT systems in a financial services platform environment is advantageous.
