We are seeking a skilled Product Manager to support the delivery of a finance data warehouse for one of our high-profile end clients. This critical project forms the foundation of a broader finance transformation initiative, aimed at delivering streamlined reporting, improved forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager with expertise in data systems and finance processes to deliver a high-impact solution in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
The Role
As Product Manager, you will:
- Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for the finance data warehouse.
- Collaborate with finance, IT, and external vendors to gather and prioritise requirements, ensuring the data warehouse meets business needs.
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of the data warehouse, from design and development to testing and deployment.
- Work with technical teams to define data architecture, ETL processes, and reporting requirements.
- Ensure seamless integration of the data warehouse with existing systems and tools.
- Act as the key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and decision-making.
- Manage risks, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful delivery.
- Champion data governance and security best practices throughout the project.
Key Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience as a Product Manager, ideally leading data warehouse or similar data platform projects.
- Strong knowledge of data architecture, ETL processes, and modern data warehousing technologies.
- Familiarity with finance processes, including reporting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Experience delivering large-scale projects in complex organisations, preferably in the FMCG, retail, or related sectors.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A collaborative approach, with the ability to align technical and business priorities.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and product management tools.
- 3 days per week required onsite
