IT Project Manager (Azure Migration)

La Fosse are currently partnered with a customer who are looking to hire an IT Project Manager into their team, to work on an Azure Migration programme.

This role is outside IR35, paying £575 per day and initial 6 months. The customer’s office is based in London and there will be an expectation for 2 days a week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end Azure migration projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of all aspects of the migration, including cloud architecture design, data migration, and application re-hosting/re-platforming.
• Work closely with Azure architects, developers, and other technical experts to ensure smooth execution of the migration process.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager with a focus on Azure Migrations.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including services like Azure Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, Active Directory, and Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, data migration strategies, and application modernization.
• Excellent project management skills with experience in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale IT projects, including vendor management and stakeholder communication.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications are a bonus
