Job Summary:
La Fosse is seeking a skilled and motivated Resident Test Engineer with expertise in E-Propulsion systems, including Inverter, Battery, and Charging technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and executing vehicle testing strategies, coordinating with onsite and offshore teams, and ensuring the efficient setup and execution of test projects. This role requires hands-on experience in system testing, HIL/SIL setups, and a deep understanding of electric vehicle powertrain domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Testing: Conduct comprehensive vehicle tests in the E-Propulsion areas (Inverter, Battery, Charging).
  • Testing Strategy: Lead the development of testing strategies, swiftly initiate testing scopes, and manage test execution for both onsite and offshore teams.
  • Onsite Coordination: Provide firsthand support onsite in Sweden, coordinating closely with offshore teams to ensure seamless setup and execution of testing procedures.
  • Test Setup: Set up and operate HIL/SIL test benches (DSPACE) effectively.
  • Flexibility: Adapt to varying testing demands and different testing areas as required.

Qualifications:
Mandatory:

  • Swedish driving license.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong background in system testing, with extensive hands-on experience in function and vehicle testing.
  • Proficient in setting up and working with HIL/SIL test benches (DSPACE).
  • Expertise in using test tools such as Vector tools (Canalyzer, Canoe), Debuggers, and INCA.
  • Experience with test automation tools like Vtest Studio, DSPACE Autodesk, and Python.
  • In-depth knowledge of UDS/Diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with CI tools (Jenkins) and test automation frameworks.
  • Exposure to ISO 26262 functional safety requirements.

Domain Knowledge:

  • Comprehensive awareness of Electric Vehicles, particularly within the Powertrain domain (Inverter, Battery, Charging).

Other Skills:

  • Experience across the entire test development cycle, including all phases of ECU testing.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a diverse team.
