My client, a leading entertainment company, who are looking for a Head of Cloud to join their London office and manage the multi-cloud platform team in delivering high quality and innovative cloud solutions in a heavily regulated environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Be will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the multi-cloud engineering function
- Ensure the team are operating in line with industry best practices and where possible aligned to the AWS and Azure Well-Architected Framework and Cloud Centre of Excellence which focuses on reliability, security, operational excellence, cost optimisation, and performance efficiency
- Have Strong oversight of the day-to-day operation of the team, ensuring when incidents occur, they are quickly resolve
You will have the following:
- Working knowledge of cloud principles and technologies
- In depth understanding of DevOps concepts
- Proven experience of managing cloud platforms and containerisation technologies
- Managed engineering teams, ideally in a regulated environment
- Set and defined cloud strategies across AWS and Azure
