Global IT Vendor Manager

Salary: up to £95,000 p.a

About the Role

The Global IT Vendor Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders and a diverse portfolio of vendors to ensure service excellence, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary contact for vendor-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Facilitate regular meetings with vendors to discuss performance, contract adherence, and future needs.
• Negotiate, develop, and renew vendor contracts, securing favourable terms aligned with business goals.
• Monitor and manage compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and other contractual commitments.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of potential vendors, including risk assessments and cost-benefit analysis.
• Collaborate with Service Delivery Management to track vendor performance and ensure service excellence.

To be successful:

• 10 years extensive experience in vendor management.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, software, hardware, and services.
• Proven experience in managing a diverse portfolio of IT vendors (including hardware, software and service providers).
• Extensive experience in negotiating and managing complex contracts.
• Certification in vendor management (e.g. CIPS, ITIL) will be viewed favourably.
