Contract Business Data Analyst

Hybrid – Surrey (2-3 days onsite)
£400 per day – Inside IR35
6-month initial contract (likely extension)

We are seeking an experienced Business Data Analyst to join a leading organisation delivering end-to-end data transformation projects, including the development of modern data warehouses and data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, document and translate data requirements.

• Support the delivery of robust data solutions including enterprise data warehouses and reporting platforms.

• Analyse, cleanse, and map data from multiple systems including SQL Server, PostgreSQL/pgAdmin, and SAP.

• Contribute to the design and optimisation of data flows, ETL pipelines, and data models.

• Collaborate with engineers and architects to support delivery against data strategy and business KPIs.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in data transformation and data platform projects.

• Strong proficiency in SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and pgAdmin.

• Working knowledge of SAP data structures and integration points.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work with large, complex datasets.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
