You will be helping the client migrate applications out of their US entity. Key applications are dependent on US infrastructure so this needs to be re-built into the UK environment.
You will have experience in a systems administrator role with web experience including IAS, troubleshooting IAS and application support with an infrastructure background.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assists with support of server environments especially on Windows IIS and .net technologies on both on-prem and Microsoft Azure
- Deploy apps to an IIS sever on VMs on both Windows and Linux
- Documents, monitors, and audits the web server environments
- Provides maintenance, updates software installations on all web servers for both Windows and Linux.
- Perform administration, configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting of web server equipment.
- Providing technical assistance to the development teams.
- Manage incidents and work orders within established service level agreements.
- Create and maintain support documentation as required
- Identify opportunities and drive service and process improvements, diligent about Incident/Problem, Change/Release, Security, Risk/Compliance, Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery, and Proactive Monitoring, culmination of which resulting in highly available and resilient systems and services.
- Primary resource for building IIS web sites, server hardware and software issues
- Manage the configuration of all the system components in each environment and the disaster recovery platforms.

Skills and Key Competencies:

- Reporting to the Lead System Administrator this role is responsible for the design, implementation, management and monitoring of all Linux and Windows services.
- Working as part of the Systems Engineering team you will ensure the 24/7 availability of our mission critical content processing services.
- You will play an important role in the migration of services to the cloud so a desire to learn more about cloud technologies (particularly AWS and Terraform) is important.
- Rehat version of Linux and also have a number of other systems – Ubuntu and Sollaris (but predominately red hat)

The role
- Provides 2nd /3rd line support on Microsoft 365 issues ensuring resolutions are achieved in a timely manner.
- Develops and manages a relationship with Microsoft support teams in order to diagnose and resolve issues through the appropriate channels where necessary,
- Monitors and investigates issues related to MS 365 and Azure resources and resolve problems in systems, processes and services as appropriate.
- Determines problem fixes/remedies related to Microsoft technologies.
